While continuing our onsite excellence, we will accelerate opening up the Library’s collections and experiences to a dispersed and diverse Australian community.

Our Enlighten community picnic was back in 2024. Once again, we extended our opening hours on the Friday and Saturday evenings between 1 and 11 March with free activities for all ages running on our Podium and in our Foyer.

As part of the Enlighten Festival, the Library welcomed 'The Guardians' to our podium area, from opening night on 28 February.

The Library’s Enterprise Agreement sets out workplace arrangements for the Library’s employees.
